Dear all,

We are really happy to announce that all of our shops have opened (including the Toul Kork and Toul Tom Poung shops) as the lockdown has officially been lifted as of today (May 5th). With the lockdown lifted, we are able to finally get back to our warehouse and transfer over some products to all 5 of our stores across Phnom Penh. As you know, Phnom Penh area has an extended lockdown until May 5th. Some of our shops have reopened during this period with limited staff to comply with social distancing rules set by City Hall. The following branches are open.

The working hours are also limited due to the night time curfew. Until further notice, our temporary shop opening hours are 8:30am to 6pm for all of the shops. Hope 2021 is starting off healthy for all of you. We’re happy to announce that we are launching a new product for the new year, our RUVO Electric Standing Desk which comes in light wood colour.

For those who don’t know why an electric standing desk is useful, here are a few reasons:

1. Lowers weight gain: Standing instead of sitting (which one usually does if working on a computer in an office or home study desk) helps prevent weight gain and lowers calories (on an average day, around 170 extra calories are burned by standing instead of sitting). If you work 6 days a week, that is over 1000 calories burned from just standing instead of sitting.
2. Reduce back pain: A standing desk, according to a study by the CDC, shows that neck pain and back pain dropped by 54% after using a standing desk for over 4 weeks.
3. Improve mood and energy levels: According to a recent study, up to 87% of those who used a standing desk showed increased energy throughout the day. Using a standing desk reduced stress compared to sitting
4. Increases life span: Studies have shown that sitting for long periods of time may increase the chances of heart disease and type 2 diabetes. By using a standing desk, you reduce the amount of time sitting and thus, prolongs our health

A lot of us have a New Years resolution of living healthier and a standing desk is a great way to force a healthier working environment. Come by, try it out and hopefully you’ll start living healthier too!

Half a month went by just like that. We figured everyone is pretty busy with their beginning of year routine so for those who didn’t have a chance to make it to our Khalandale Mall shop yet, we’ve snapped a few pics for you to have a simple view of it online. These new items are in stock now and would make a great addition to your home. There are hundreds of new items that arrived in the past week or so and we’re sure you’ll find many of them useful. We’ve got a few things of note at our stores now. Some of our bigger items are selling at a special promotion price, most notably our RUVO Lena style sofas in blue and green (regular price for this model is $320 but the discounted price is $285). A ton of products are on promotion as you can see in the images below (discounted prices are on the text in the pictures).

In addition, at our Toul Tom Poung (Russian Market) branch, we’ve got a ton of Christmas items at a special price too so come by for some last minute decor! 🎅🏾🎄
